  6. 1/2 green chilli, finely chopped
  7. 2 tablespoons yoghurt or cream
  8. 1-2 tbsp oil

Method To make Rava Toast or semolina toast

Take 1/4 cup of Rava in a medium bowl.

Add 2 tbsps finely chopped capsicum, 2 tbsp of finely chopped tomatoes, 2 tablespoons finely chopped onions and 1/2 finely chopped green chillies.

2 tbsps and add salt (according to taste).

All the ingredients from the spoon mix equal. Do not put water.

Take the bread and dilute the Rava-Veji mixture on each slice and spread it uniformly. Do not spread the mixture much otherwise the toast will not become crisp.

Heat 1 / 2-1 teaspoon oil on medium flame for each slice in a non-stick pan.

Keep the bread slices on top of the pan, keep in mind that Rava-Veji keeps the mixture surface downwards.

Let them cook on low flame until the lower surface becomes golden. Turn the slices of bread over.

Let the second surface cook on a low flame until it is crisp and golden (by the way the picture is shown). Turn over. Do not cook it on medium flame otherwise, the bread will soon become golden but will not become crisp (will remain soft).

Remove the bread slices in the plate. Rava Toast is ready to serve. Cut into the desired shape and serve with Tomato Ketchup and Hot Tea/coffee immediately.

Suggestions and variations:

  • Rava toast becomes cold and soft when cold, so serve them hot.
  • When making Rava-Veji mixture in Step-3 for the good golden colour of Toast, add the pinch of red chilli powder.
  • If you are making rava toast in excess quantity, do not mix rava-veggie on all the slices at once, otherwise the bread slice will become wet and soft (according to the size of the pudding), mix the mixture on 2-3 slices and when the first batch is formed If you have been, then mix the mixture on 2-3 slices for the other group.
  • If you are making it for the children, do not put green chillies.
