Green tea is relatively safe for most adults but in some people, green tea can cause indigestion and constipation in the stomach. If it is used in limited quantities, then it is safe but its intake is unsafe in excess.

Due to caffeine, its side effects can also be mildly severe and this can cause problems like headache, nervousness, sleep problems, dizziness and trembling. Caffeine supplements can be fatal to 10 to 14 grams in green tea.
